All our products are well packaged and sent via our reliable carriers. Please allow 7 -10 WORKING DAYS for delivery although products in stock can usually be delivered next working day (excluding weekends & bank holidays) on orders placed before 2.00pm. The majority of our orders arrive sooner than this but we have to allow for 'low or out of stock' circumstances. If required, telephone our hotline (024 7671 7043) to enquire about delivery dates & product availability as occasionally due to delays with manufacturers some products can be longer than this though this is rare. Only products bought within MAINLAND UNITED KINGDOM are carriage paid when your order total is in excess of £49.99 (excluding non stock, special order items such as spare parts, to which we will quote the carriage price). Our Carrier will attempt to deliver twice to your stated address. If for any reason it is impossible for them to deliver on 2 occasions then the customer is liable to pay the re-charge for the 3rd attempt. (In this circumstance charges are the same as below)

All products are to be paid for online (in sterling) using our secure servers and security technology, unless pre-arranging to pay by cheque, or by paying over the telephone using credit/debit card (tel: 024 7671 7043). When placing an order with us you are agreeing a contract of sale to purchase the item. You have a right to withdraw from this contract of sale which is outlined below.


If you require a spare part to a fitting etc which you purchased with us or a product not featured on our site, then call our helpline (024 7671 7043 Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm) and let one of our advisers know. We will either be able to tell you on the spot if we can supply it to you or we will take your details and call you back as soon as we have a definite answer (usually within the hour)

Any information that is passed onto us through a transaction is completely private and is seen only by a minimal amount of required people. We do not give, sell or hire any information to any third parties. (DPA 1998)

Non UK Customers
Please note that we are a UK company and all our products are priced & charged in UK £s Sterling. Non UK customers should also be aware that our products run at 240V (British standard voltage) and countries with a lesser national voltage will notice a considerable under performance in their fitting etc.

Returns Policy
Goods damaged in transit will be replaced providing you keep all the relevant packaging and inform us as soon as the damage is noticed (we require as much information as possible) Your claim must be made within 14 days of receipt. TO RETURN AN ITEM YOU MUST FILL OUT A RETURNS FORM FOR YOUR PRODUCT TO BE ACCEPTED BACK. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD OUR RETURNS FORM AS A PDF HERE


We will refund any product bought upto 14 days after the order was placed and providing the product is still sealed within its original packaging and not tampered with (excluding spare parts and special orders). The product cannot have been electrically fitted.

No refunds will be given after 14 days or if the product has been tampered with or if the product is a special order (such as a spare part order placed over the telephone) We cannot accept items back if they have been electrically installed)

Any unwanted products that have been requested for return by our customers are subject to a returns charge of 25% off the retail value paid.

If returning a product, please follow the procedures listed below.

1.) Inform us of your problem (we do also require a written explanation of the problem, indicating the reason for the return.) Fill in your returns form that we guide you to online.

2.) If the product is eligible for return (which we will tell you when initial contact is made) Please prepare the parcel.

The customer is responsible for the postage charges on returns items (we suggest senders use tracked delivery for your safety) We can arrange for collection for you, although this will cost £17.50 carriage charge minimum (dependent upon size & weight) made by our carriers and is in no way a profitable payment. Orders delivered to foreign locations can only be returned if we are notified within 14 working days from delivery. We do not pay any return carriage for items required for return from a foreign location.

Any damages, Faults or shortages must be notified within 14 days of receipt of product. Lightahome (and all partner websites) can not accept responsibility after this period. Any Faulty or damaged goods notified within 14 days will be replaced.
Lightahome.co.uk (and all partner websites) will in no way be liable for any costs incurred due to faulty goods or shortages such as electricians fees, time taken from place of employment etc. All warranties cover products installed within the UK. Products installed outside the UK may incur carriage charges for parts etc.


Distance Selling Regulations (European Directive on Consumer Rights)
Under the Distance Selling Regulations Act you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website, for a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification. To cancel you can e-mail us, or write to us (see returns details above) within 14 days of delivery of your items, quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the items and you must not use them. Items may be returned to our store or you can arrange delivery to us (sender responsible for carriage charges, details above) Orders past 14 days from delivery do not come under these rules and are therefore non-returnable

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer

We reserve the right to cancel or not complete any order and provide a full refund to those affected.
